The Department of Commerce was established in the year
1972, with a vision of providing excellence in the fields of Commerce by
imparting value based education, training and research for the rural students.
The Department is offering undergraduate course in Commerce (B.Com). It is also
offering a Short Term Course in Computerized Accounting (TALLY). Further, the
Department introduced well equipped computer and commerce lab as a
part of the curriculum and assessment to expose the commerce students to the
practical knowledge and environment. At present, the Department has 03
faculty members comprising as Assistant professors, The department
has a Commerce Association which provides a platform for students to
develop their overall personality and improve their marketability with the help
of various Seminars , debate sessions, Business quiz, , elocution, group
discussions, mock interviews, power point presentations etc. are part of the
Commerce Association activities.
